Rejection Isn't the End: An Update on the Festival Circuit

The filmmaking journey is full of ups and downs, and we believe in being transparent about both. We recently received news that our film, "Spades," was not selected for this year's Austin Under the Stars Film Festival.

Their team sent a very kind and thoughtful note, sharing that while our project was "carefully considered and admired," the competition was "exceptionally high." This shows just how much passion and talent is out there in the independent film world.

This is a reminder that rejection does not equal failure. It's simply a part of the process. This is a chance to learn and grow. We are so grateful to the Austin Under the Stars team for taking the time to review our work and for their kind words.
